Diane
Dávalos Beale, Founder and Director
|
was founded in 1978 by Diane Dávalos Beale, Ph.D.,
ABD, who now works with six of the most talented accelerative
learning teachers in the U.S. All of them are well experienced
in the method with native speaking ability, charm, a sense
of humor, a deep joy in their work, and a sincere concern
for their students. They have taught Spanish and the Expanded
Learning methodology to over 20,000 people in 13 countries.
In addition to regular courses, they have vast experience
in specialized areas such as health care, business, bilingual
education, ministry, hospitality, social service, and
government agencies. |

Diane
has presented to professional groups throughout the U.S. and
in Mexico, France, Austria, Brazil, Argentina, England, Canada,
and Switzerland.
She
has published professional articles on the theory of accelerative
learning ("Suggestology and the Emerging New Sciences");
on the results of an experimental course ("Mini-immersion
in Medical Spanish for Family Practice") and a book for
teachers (Activities to Expand Learning). She has also written
and recorded nine theater pieces for learning Spanish: El
elefante constipado, Hijos del sol, La nueva vida, Guess who's
Coming to Dinner, Hablemos el mismo idioma, El Mito magnífico
de Manuel y su manguera mágica, El Camino, El Santuario
de Chimayó, and Voces antiguas del futuro
Diane's
greatest joy is seeing student begin to relax, have fun, gain
confidence, and start communicating in a new language.
