In one well-researched study 3 groups of American soldiers studied German with traditional techniques for 360 hours. Another group studied the same subject using accelerative learning techniques for 108 hours.

• Only 29% of the standard groups reached the required level of understanding spoken German
• But 73% of the accelerated learning group achieved the same ability to understand spoken German
• Statistically, that is 661% better learning rate; more than twice the results in one-third the time.

Another study showed the average number of new vocabulary words learned per hour in a traditional foreign language class; 8. In an accelerative learning class; 23.

At Expanded Learning we have taught close to 10,000 students over the past 20 years. Though we haven't kept statistical analyses, we have kept track of evaluation forms. On a scale of 1-10 on overall satisfaction with the class and the teacher, the average was 9.7.
